Faq Questions Energy of Solar Systems!

Our approach has been simple. Provide 100% competitive pricing with qualified service and no hidden fees.

01

Since our inception, SolarQuick has been committed to accelerating the shift towards a greener, solar-powered future.

02

A solar rooftop system is a setup that harnesses sunlight and converts it into electricity for residential, commercial, or industrial use.

03

  • Visit the National Portal for Rooftop Solar and install the Sandes app.
  • Register as a customer; a DISCOM official will visit for feasibility approval.
  • After getting the NOC, choose your installer (e.g., SolarQuick) and sign the agreement.
  • Once installed, a net meter will be set up and a commissioning certificate issued.
  • Submit your bank details on the portal, and the subsidy will be credited within 30 days.

04
  • On-grid – Connected to the electricity grid; excess power is sent back to the grid under the Net Metering Policy.
  • Off-grid – Works independently with battery storage; ideal for areas without grid access.
  • Hybrid – Combines grid connection with battery storage; uses solar power during the day and stored energy at night.

05 On average, a 1 kW solar plant generates around 4 units of electricity per day. Actual output may vary based on sunlight, location, plant design, and component quality.

06 Net Metering allows solar users to send excess electricity to the grid and get credits in return. This credited power can be used later, like at night. Users are billed only for the net energy consumed from the grid.

07 The ideal solar plant size depends on your electricity usage, shadow-free roof space, and local sunlight levels. Once you show interest, SolarQuick will assess your site and suggest the right system size through a detailed analysis.

01 A rooftop solar system typically lasts 25 years. Solar panels come with a 25-year warranty, while inverters usually have a warranty of 5 to 12 years.

02 No, when installed properly, solar systems do not damage your roof. At SolarQuick, we use certified non-penetrating structures and waterproofing methods to protect your roof and maintain its integrity throughout the system's life.

03 Yes, it's recommended to clean your solar panels 1–2 times a month for optimal performance. Use a soft cloth, sponge, or nylon brush—preferably in the early morning or evening. Avoid metal brushes or detergents to prevent damage.
